One of the most common questions I’ve received in the past 20 years is how do I select an attorney. Finding an attorney online is easy selecting the right one could be a challenge. I often tell people to look for 3 things.

First, make sure when you call a law firm you actually speak with an attorney; an attorney who’s too busy for you now, may be too busy for you later.

Second, make sure when you speak with the attorney there is a connection and the attorney is the right fit for you.

Third, at the conclusion of your initial meeting or call with the attorney always ask what the case strategy should be going forward. An experienced attorney should be able to provide you with a basic roadmap, as well as what the next steps are, for your case.
